Tampa Engagement
Crystal and Vijay met me out in Tampa for their gorgeous outdoor engagement session. Envisioning a a serene backdrop of natural Florida foliage, the two were down to visit a spot they had never been!
From Birthday to Birthday
My sweethearts story began when they met at a friend’s birthday party while in college. While the two noticed one another, they didn’t get a chance to connect; that was until the next birthday party celebration rolled around. Now out of college, the two met again at another friend’s birthday party. Having time to talk and dance, Crystal and Vijay definitely made a connection and exchanged numbers. Unfortunately Vijay’s luck that night led him to losing his phone, but he was able to find Crystal on Facebook. Jokingly Vijay told Crystal that “this is your only opportunity to undo giving you my phone number, otherwise I am going to ask you out.” Of course, Crystal did not want to undo the phone number handoff, or adding Vijay as a Facebook friend, and so he did ask her out!
Falling in love with how smart Crystal is, Vijay also loves how hard working and caring she is too. For Crystal, she fell in love with how positive and driven of a person Vijay is and explains that Vijay, is “my best friend and I can always trust him to be beside me through thick and thin.”
A Berlin Proposal
Knowing he had found the one, Vijay prepare for his proposal to Crystal by picking up “the ring” before their trip to Berlin. While grabbing lunch to eat at Tiergarden Park, Vijay snuck in a bottle of champagne to celebrate their vacation – at least that is what he told crystal. Finding a quiet area in the park, Vijay and Crystal pulled out their spread to enjoy in the park, which was when Vijay popped the question. Of course, Crystal said, “yes” and reminisces that she was completely surprised and definitely didn’t see the proposal coming! Clearly popping the champagne afterwards was a celebration of both their vacation getaway and also that they were on their way to spending forever together.
