The Proposal
On February 17, 2021, we spent all day just talking and crying and talking and I was so happy to be in his arms that I asked him to marry me and he said yes.
Wedding Day Vision
My wedding day vision looks like a hometown set of Bridgerton. Like if Bridgerton was a low-scale hallmark movie. The groom will be in his Air Force blues uniform, and his groomsmen will also be dressed in a similar blue. My dads walking me down the aisle (and Kelley’s dad who wants to be included) will be wearing a dark navy color. Green is one of my favorite colors but forest green isn’t really a garden color, so we chose a soft sage and aquamarine blue to offset the deeper tones of the navy colors. my wedding ring also has an aquamarine stone. Bridesmaids will be dressed in sage, our ceremony speaker in aquamarine. We would have loved to hang up pictures of my partner and me for guests to ooh and ahh over for the pre-ceremony cocktail hour but we don’t have a lot of pictures together, so we decided that the cocktail hour will be a nice mingler. The ceremony will be short and sweet and instead grand exit of ceremony will be bubbles. The reception will be less light in colors, with navy blue linens offset by sage napkins, and more silver details. The rooftop of Bulla Gastrobar is a cozy fit for 35 people, however, we’re just thankful to share the night with the people who mean the most to us.
