Ashlyn and Caleb’s gorgeous garden engagement in Tampa, Florida was the perfect way to kick off their wedding planning! Ashlyn dressed in a beautiful vintage vibe dress and Caleb in a blue button down, the two were just too sweet for words.
Living only 45 minutes away from each other almost their whole lives, the two met in high school through mutual friends. After their initial introduction, the two became best friends almost two years alter and have been inseparable since.
Falling in love with “how extra” Caleb is with date nights, and caring for Ashlyn in general, Ashlyn explained that Caleb “will create the most extravagant things and nothing will ever be too big of idea just to put a smile on my face. For Caleb, he fell in love with how selfless Ashlyn is, and explained that “she constantly puts other people before her and wants to make sure everyone is happy before she considers herself.” Her spontaneity also strikes a cord of love with Caleb, from her spirited random trips to the corner store to get a slurps or exploring other states on a road trip adventure.
Wanting to capture their moment where their forever began, the proposal, Caleb hired a photographer for what Ashlyn thought was just a regular photography session. Having planned out the session extensively, Caleb still felt very nervous and stressed, but it all came together perfectly. That clear clarity moment where he felt like they were the only two in the room, asking Ashlyn to marry him, turned into the perfect moment when she said, “yes!” Ashlyn reminisces that, “it was the best surprise and the most romantic thing I have ever seen. It was a night I will never forget!”
