It was the perfect day for a celebration of love at The White Room in St. Augustine, Florida. Kasia and Patrick had a wonderful ceremony followed by a fun reception surrounded by their loved ones. Congratulations to the newly weds!
Kasia and Patrick got engaged in February 2021 during Kasia’s 30th birthday weekend. Pat brought her down to their favorite brunch spot on Alki Beach called Cactus. They had a few drinks and some delicious brunch then he said let’s go across the street and walk around the boardwalk (Alki is right on Puget Sound!).
They walked out to this little pier and he started acting a little weird, next thing Kasia knew he was down on one knee and asking her to marry him which she of course said yes immediately :). They then hung out in their converted ’89 Chevy G20 (they love camping and road trips!) and drank champagne calling all of their loved ones to tell them the good news.
This was a special spot for them because they moved across country together in 2016 with only their jeep wrangler, a small trailer, and their 100 lb GSD Zeus. They had no where to live/go and were starting jobs in a couple days. After failing miserably at finding an apartment the first few days, they sat on the ground (right near where he proposed) and proceeded to have a mental breakdown at the same time. They ended up pulling it together and deciding to not give up. Kasia remembers that she pulled up Craigslist and the first post she saw was for an apartment sublet up the street. This was their sign! They called the poster and begged him to meet with them right then. The rest is history!
