How They Met
We met in Chicago, Illinois on January 22, 2020. We had our first date at Home Slice, a local pizza joint.
The Proposal
We got engaged on December 10, 2022. We had brunch at Gibsons Italia and then were supposed to be heading to the Broadway musical The Lion King. As we were walking down by the river, Karl got down on one knee and proposed. A photographer took pictures of us around the city and then we had a drink at London House. When we arrived back home all my friends were there to surprise me and celebrate
