Rachel and Michael’s engagement session at the University of Tampa was a perfect mix of elegance and romance. As the day unfolded, they made their way to the beach, where the calm, glass-like waters and breathtaking sunset set the stage for dreamy portraits. Despite the warm Florida day, their joy and connection shone through, creating a collection of photos as beautiful as their love story.
How They Met
We met on Tinder – Another Modern love story! We messaged for a few weeks before we were both available to get together. However, the only night we technically had available, I had tickets to my favorite band from when I was in middle school. The music is definitely an acquired taste but considering the circumstances, I also figured that if he couldn’t get thru it or wanted to cancel over it, this might not be a match anyhow. We met up at The Blue Note, a since-closed staple in the Tampa music scene. We got a drink and talked & laughed until the band came on, to which I sang my heart out and he kindly enjoyed with a bobbing head and beer in hand. Afterwards we went to the First Chance Last Chance bar in Ybor, where we found a cozy table and talked until we were just too sleepy to go on. We parted ways but knew we would see each other soon. This was very accurate as we got dinner together maybe four days later when we had another mutual availability and we’ve been together since.
What They Love About Each Other
The thing I love the most about Michael is his ability to speak how he truly feels about something. Thankfully he is also kind which prevents his honesty from being harsh and instead is refreshing and comforting to know exactly where you stand with him. Michael loves my thoughtfulness the most and appreciates my consideration of others in everything I do.
