Katherine & Nick’s Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall Wedding – Captured by Dawn

Katie and Nick celebrated their special day surrounded by family and friends with a Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall wedding in Sanford, Florida! These two looked to be straight out of a magazine as they said their “I do’s” and danced the night away.

The Proposal

After not being able to spend Christmas together, Katie and Nick made plans to exchange gifts the day after Christmas. Little did Katie know there would be one last surprise in store! After spending the holidays with her family, she showed up to her and Nick’s apartment, completely underdressed to find Nick all dressed up. She assumed he was getting ready for work and didn’t think much of it, but looking back, she saw all the signs were there that she didn’t notice. After breakfast and exchanging their gifts, Nick told Katie there was one more present. This definitely took her by surprise and she was so thankful to be able to have that moment alone with Nick!

Wedding Day Vision

Katie and Nick knew they wanted their wedding day to be relaxed and simple. Having time to enjoy the company of their guests was extremely important to them! Katie envisioned colors such as blush, navy, dusty blue, whites and greens to keep everything light and airy.
