How They Met
We met freshman year at college. The college we attended was very small (Saint Leo University). There was an app that our college used that allowed everyone to talk and meet each other (over the summer) before seeing each other on campus. We both interacted on this app and talked to each other a little bit. Him, being the outgoing one, said if he found me on campus, he would come say hi. That is exactly what happened! He saw me in the lunchroom and came right up to talk. We started texting from there and hanging out. He made me feel so comfortable when I was with him and we grew into best friends, and quickly after started dated. We dated for about a year and a half. Then, we both decided to go our separate ways. Senior year, he called me to ask a question about a class. That phone call lasted 3.5 hours and we both knew we were finally ready for each other!
Love For Each Other
The things I love most about Tre is his kindness and passion. He is so genuine and kind to everyone that he comes in contact with. He will go out of his way to ensure they walk away with a smile and feeling more positive, even if it is a quick interaction. He also is filled with passion. Passion for God, loving others, his work, serving, and more. His passion fuels his drive in wanting to always do better and know more. He is such an incredible person and partner.
The things I love most about Marissa is her unselfishness and grit. She will literally give someone the shirt off her back and her last dollar. The way she loves and cares for people is unmatched. When it comes to grit, there is no quit in her. She is the hardest working person I know. She works hard but still knows how to balance spending time with family and love ones.
