Winter Park Farmers Market Wedding
Kaylee and Nick tied the knot during their Winter Park Farmers Market wedding in downtown Winter Park, Florida. A chic industrial vibe, paired with green and gold hues, made for a marvelous wedding day.
On the first day of school…
My sweethearts story began back in UCF in August of 2010. While visiting his friend’s dorm to hang out, Nick took note of Kaylee, the gorgeous roomie. Chatting it up, they began hanging out with their first date grabbing coffee. By the end of the week from their first date, they officially started dating and celebrated their 8th anniversary this past September.
Falling in love with Nick’s sense of humor and amazing smile, Kaylee explained that “we have a really amazing, effortless relationship in that were almost always on the same page.” For Nick, he fell in love with how he feels at home when he is with Kaylee by his side. As Nick explained, “seeing her at the end of the day is definitely the highlight of my every night.” With so much love between the two, a proposal came back in 2017 when the two lived in California.
From Cali to Florida
Having moved to Cali for opportunities at the time that soon evolved to moving back to Florida, Nick wanted to start their forever together where they had started making their home. After enjoying a nice dinner and ice cream, the two ventured around for a stroll in their town. Asking Kaylee if she had wanted to do anything else before they left to Florida, Kaylee said no, but Nick had one last thing in mind. Taking out the ring and dropping to one knee, Nick asked Kaylee for her hand in marriage and of course, she said “yes!”
Wedding Day at Winter Park Farmers Market
Having met my couple during their engagement, I was so excited to see the two again for their wedding. Our day started off at Park Plaza Gardens hotel off of Park Ave where both Kaylee and Nick were getting ready. While Nick was finishing up bringing decor to the Winter Park Farmers Market before their ceremony began, we captured Kaylee getting ready with her sister who was doing double duty as Maid of Honor as well. Once details and beautiful bridal portraits were done, we headed to the lobby to capture a few cool shots of Nick suiting up.
Side note, shout out to the tailor on Park Ave. who helped our groom and best man tie their bowtie. With as many YouTube videos as we watched, sometimes a bowtie professional is just a necessity.
Winter Park Farmers Market Ceremony
With getting ready wrapped up, we headed on over to the Winter Park Farmers Market for our sweethearts wedding to begin. As guests arrived, they were greeted by Allan, Nick and Kaylee’s friend, who also is a dog walker extraordinare – at least he was for Kaylee and Nick’s engagement session when rangling their pup! Seeing Kaylee for the first time as she walked down the aisle, it was clear as day how much Nick cared for her, and vice versa.
After sentimental vows were shared, along with a first kiss sealing the deal, Kaylee and Nick were officially Mr. and Mrs. Family portraits followed the ceremony at the same location, along with venturing over to Central Park off of Park Ave for bridal party portraits.
Winter Park Farmers Market Reception
Set along the main downtown street, Central Park was the perfect spot for bridal party an newlywed portraits. I just loved how we were able to incorporate green hues to go with the vibe of Kaylee and Nick’s big day. After newlywed portraits were complete, we headed back into the Winter Park Farmers Market for our sweethearts reception to begin.
Introductions were followed by toasts – I must say that Kaylee’s sister is a natural born comedian. Once dancing got going, Vince with Roeshink Entertainment kept the tunes hot and the guests on the dance floor. A glow stick send off ended the night as we wished our couple a sweet goodbye!
Wishing Kaylee and Nick a beautiful life together!
