In-home newborn sessions are always a favorite of mine, and being able to capture baby August’s session was such a real treat! A gifted portrait session from my bride to be Lauren to her sister-in-law Alley, the Leasure family welcomed me into their home to be able to capture such a special moment in their lives of bringing home baby August.
Born on December 22nd at 12:41 PM, August weighed in at six pounds and three ounces, along with being 19 inches long. A healthy, happy baby, mommy Alley and daddy Shaun were so excited to finally meet him. As Alley explained, “we have been waiting and longing for this moment for a long time. We knew we would love him, but from the first moment I held him, I didn’t realize how much love I had to give. It’s amazing seeing how much our lives have changed in just a year.”
Finding their groove, Alley and Shaun love being parents and learning so much each every day about August. Both looking forward to teaching him right and wrong, watching him grow, and cherishing all of the cuddles since he won’t be little for forever, the two are just soaking in each and every moment.
