Deanna and Bojan met me out at the stunning Sydonie Mansion in Mount Dora, Florida where they will be tying the knot in just a few short months!
My couple’s story began by meeting at a mutual friend’s get-together with work colleagues. On a three day stretch of work and completely exhausted, Deanna almost didn’t go, but her mom convinced her otherwise that she needed to get out and have fun. Bojan almost didn’t go that night either due to exhaustion from work as well, but as luck may have it changed his mind last minute.
Seeing Bojan across the room after she arrived, Deanna made her way over to introduce herself. The two quickly realized that Bojan’s last day at the hospital was Deanna’s first day there. They actually would have met at his going away party that Deanna’s preceptor invited her too, but Deanna had politely declined since she didn’t know him. It is funny how when fate has a path for you, it is determined to make it happen! Of course, Deanna and Bojan hit it off and began officially dating not long after.
In his arms, Deanna felt like she was “home.” She fell in love with how Bojan made her feel from the very start – they truly clicked and just understood one another. As Deanna explains, “I always knew he was ‘The One.’ His loyalty and constant support are unwavering. I truly love that I have never had a single doubt in my mind that we weren’t teammates for life.”
For Bojan, what he loves most about Deanna is her love for their relationship. She puts in the constant effort to give her love and build their relationship towards the life they want together. As Bojan explains, “I love that I know as long as I work for us, that Deanna will do the same, and more.”
The proposal! My oh my at first it did not go as planned. Waking up the day filled with excitement, Bojan planned out a scavenger hunt that would end in asking for Deanna’s hand in marriage. Unfortunately Deanna woke up feeling very under the weather. Quickly realizing he would have to reschedule, Bojan was able to move the scavenger hunt to another day. Fast forward to the proposal day, both woke up in good health and the proposal was on! Hand written letters in their apartment led to different places, which Deanna followed from getting her nails done to picking out a beautiful dress from a group laid out on her bed that Bojan had surprised her with.
Dressed up and knowing something exciting was about to happen, Deanna made her way to Leu Gardens, of course directed by another note! Arriving a little later than expected, Bojan became increasingly nervous, but seeing Deanna round the corner his nervousness turned to joy. Bending down to one knee, he took Deanna’s hand and asked for her to marry him. Of course, Deanna said, “yes!” I would say it was by far the most perfect scavenger hunt ever created!
