Beasan, Jay, and little Mason met me out at Mead Botanical Garden for their darling holiday portrait session. Being their first official time having taken family portraits, I am sure Beasan and Jay would not have guessed how much Mason would love the camera!
Looking at possible locations in the Orlando area, we settled on the low key and very beautiful botanical garden. It was perfect for a dynamic range of photos from floral backdrops to along the boardwalk hidden in the back of the park.
Just over a year old, Mason is truly Beasan and Jay’s “miracle baby.” He has truly blessed their lives and as Beasan explains has been “incredible to see the world through his eyes. He make us feel complete and love to make us laugh every day.” I must say this little one had quite the sense of humor playing ‘wheres my nose’ and grabbing mommy and daddy’s nose, along with his own as he laughed away.
The holidays are always an amazing time in being able to capture so many special memories that many of my families will remember through the images they receive. Little playful moments, along with big smiles for the camera truly warm my heart.
For the McKee family, they enjoy this time of year through the beauty in spending time with one another. Family traditions include going to the local Christmas tree farm to cut down their very own tree and also having a pajama party on Christmas Eve. The smell of cookies and cooking fill the room during their pajama party, along with playing games and spending amazing time together as a family. While these traditions stay year after year, it is the new memories made that go along with them, which the McKee family treasures.
Looking forward to next year with my sweet little family! Happy Holidays!
