Connie and Casey tied the knot during their beautiful wedding at Up the Creek Farms in Malabar, Florida. Surrounded by their loved ones, the two celebrated with their friends and family as they said their vows and danced the night away.
Life seems to always have a plan laid out for you, whether you know it or not in the moment. Just about nine years back, Connie and Casey first met one another at Outback Steakhouse where they were both working at the time. It was the first time the crossed paths, but wouldn’t be the right moment for the two until about six years ago when they reconnected through finding one another on Facebook. Chatting online led to making plans to meet up in person, which led to many more beautiful dates and a relationship.
Casey fell in love with “how sweet and caring Connie is,” from her kind-hearted nature to the way she cares for those around him. Even at their wedding, Connie and Casey made sure their guests were a priority by arranging for transportation to and from their hotel to make it back safely at the end of the night. Casey’s light hearted personality is what Connie fell in love with most, as he truly can find joy in just about everything.
Fast forward a few years after dating, Casey took Connie to New York in the Fall of 2016 to see the leaves changing and ask for her hand in marriage. Hiking up Bear Mountain, Connie took in the beauty of the view of the Hudson River that Casey brought her to see, while Casey took in the moment that was about to be in asking Connie to be his wife. Right there and then, Casey bent down to one knee and asked for Connie’s hand in marriage. Connie of course said (well screamed!), “yes!” It was the perfect ending to the start of their year of planning to become Mr. and Mrs.
When the wedding day finally arrived, everything was beautifully planned with stunning focus on the gorgeous surroundings of the venue. Our girls greeted us in the bridal suite where they were toasting to Connie before she stepped into her dress. Of course our guys being guys were ahead of the game and had suited up already prior to our arrival and were ready for fun pictures of their silly socks and walking “GQ” to the camera.
With time to spare before their ceremony, I suggested to Connie to share a first touch with Casey, which could not have been one of my more favorite moments of their wedding day – along with it also being their favorite moment too. Nerves, excitement, overwhelming love and joy, Connie held back the tears and so did Casey as they read love letters from one another.
Their ceremony followed soon after, along with formal portraits of their family and wedding party before we headed off into the oaks for newlywed portraits. A beautiful swing sat quietly waiting for my couple to take portraits and share another sweet kiss, along with rolling fields, and a stunningly draped reception room.
Dancing, toasts, and more dancing soon ensued as their night began before we said our goodbyes with a sparkler send off. Wishing our amazing couple a beautiful life together, that could only have been planned by fate from the start.
