Renee, Lawrence, and little Isla met me out at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa, Florida. Having captured Renee and Lawrence’s engagement session, wedding, and maternity session, it was so incredible to be a part of one more major milestone – their first family pictures.
Becoming parents…
I couldn’t wait to finally meet Isla in person and asked Renee and Lawrence how becoming parents has changed their lives. Renee explained, “becoming parents has made us think about building a better future for Isla. Working on our careers, looking for a bigger home in a great school district, while before we just used to plan our next vacation!” Renee also explained that parenthood has also taught them sacrifice in other aspects of their lives and appreciation of their own parents more as well.
Baby Isla
Little Isla is truly a very happy and charismatic baby. Lawrence doted that she “always wakes ups with a smile on her face!” Lover of all things Sesame Street, watching her puppy Lettie run circles around her, and observing the world around her are some of her favorite things!
For soon to be parents, one tip of advice from my sweet family, “just keep calm and learn to roll with the punches.” As Renee and Lawrence explain, time goes by quickly so enjoy every second!
