Katie & Cody's Tuscawilla Country Club Wedding

Katie and Cody tied the knot during their Tuscawilla Country Club wedding in Winter Springs, Florida. Their day was filled with tons of laughter and love, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Having met back in November of 2017 through the Tinder dating app, the two talked for about a month before meeting up for dinner in Saint Augustine. Neither were looking for love at the time, but they realized they had found something special instantly when finally meeting in person. Deleting the apps, and officially starting to date in January of 2018, their journey to forever together began.

Supporting Katie wholeheartedly, from changing careers to staring a business, Cody has been instrumental in building her up and being her support system. Loving Katie’s unconditional kind heart, and how sweet and caring she is, Cody explained that she always puts others first. Proposing to Katie in their home, a complete and total surprise, she of course said yes! What was so special about the proposal, was that Cody remembered what Katie said on their first date in regards to her “dream proposal,” which was for it to be a total surprise, on a random night, in the kitchen, because that is what marriage is – “every day love and every day things.” Their love for one another is as clear as day, and truly shined on their wedding day.

Arriving a bit early, we were excited to see our bride to be ahead of schedule with hair and makeup. Starting off with Katie’s details – including a pretty killer jean jacket – we grabbed shots of all of the important items before heading to our groom.

Suiting up downstairs, we captured Cody and his guys getting ready as well, before venturing back up to our bride to put on her dress. A first touch followed with a special gift from Katie to Cody, followed by an inside ceremony.

Walking down the aisle, Katie was truly radiant, and Cody noticed – tears were most definitely not held back, and it was truly a beautiful moment. Formal portraits followed their ceremony, both inside and outside, and afterwards the party soon ensued with dancing and dining.
