We met about 4 1/2 years ago when I first started going to the church we’re at right now. We went to youth group every Friday night. We found each other on social media and that’s pretty much how we started talking and getting to know each other. We both really liked each other but life got in the way for a while and we stopped talking. About a year and a half later we caught up with each other and those feelings were still there. On April 2nd, 2016, we were official and since then, we have never doubted the saying, “Everything happens for a reason.”

Melbourne Beach Proposal

It was on January 27th, 2018 on Melbourne Beach that Chris proposed. I was out with my two best friends for the day at the Brevard Zoo. I thought we were just having a regular girls day and that’s what it was. It was getting dark and my friends tell me they have a surprise for me, for being a great friend to them. They blindfolded me while in the backseat of the car and started driving. I didn’t think anything of it because nothing seemed out of place or weird that day. Chris was working (so I thought) so nothing seemed weird. We got to the destinations and my friends led me up some stairs. They took my blindfold off and I saw all of our closest friends and our immediate family members holding candles. There were candles in the sand as well and my friends along with the candles made a walkway straight to Chris at the end. While walking to Chris, each person gave me a picture of Chris and I. Pictures we took throughout our relationship. One of my friends was playing the guitar softly while I walked towards the end. Then Chris got on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. Everything about it was perfect.

Metrowest Golf Club Wedding Vision

Something I’ve always envisioned is just spending a lot of time with family. Chris and I have family who come from all over and ones we haven’t seen in years but still keep in contact with. We both love to laugh and make jokes so I can’t imagine my wedding being anything other than fun and exciting. Our theme colors are dusty rose, ivory, and champagne with hints of maroon and navy blue in some areas like what the groomsmen will wear, flowers, etc. the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception to follow will be indoors. It’s a morning wedding so we are gonna be having breakfast foods.
