Rosalie and William tied the knot during their Catholic wedding ceremony at the All Souls Historic Chapel and partied the night away during their wedding reception at Timacuan Golf Club.
You may remember my sweethearts from their darling engagement session at the beautiful Cypress Grove Estate House. By far my favorite shot was of William picking up Rosalie with the sun gently falling on the two. I knew from our engagement that my couple would be incredible to photograph and work with for their big day and absolutely could not wait.
Rosalie and William actually met back in the Fall of 2012 while William was volunteering at the hospital Rosalie worked at. As soon as the two locked eyes, William knew there was a spark. Asking around, he found out her favorite cookies were peanut butter with chocolate chips and baked them the night before he returned back to the hospital… of course hoping by chance should we be working that day. As luck may have it, Rosalie was there and William greeted her with the sweet surprise. Of course, the gesture was the perfect opening for Rosalie agreeing to a date night, which led to many more and a sweet romance!
Falling in love happened quickly for my darlings. Rosalie loves William’s sense of humor and how he can make her laugh no matter what. William loves Rosalie’s intelligence and as swears, “she is the smartest woman I have ever met.” Their personalities and souls drew one another in and their faith and love built a last foundation of love. William knew that Rosalie was his girl and during their anniversary to St. Augustine proposed to her on a small bench in a garden where they visited to eat ice cream, laugh, and enjoy one another’s company. It was perfect and intimate, sentimental and thoughtful, and of course Rosalie said, “yes!”
Just like their proposal, the two wanted their wedding to be intimate with all of their closest friends and family. Our day started off at their home capturing Rosalie getting dolled up before heading over to All Souls Historic Chapel for the ceremony. Arriving in style, William arranged for Rosalie to be picked up and arrive in a black limo for their black tie wedding. Capturing the girls giggling and absolute excitement was a blast as they exited the limo before making the sacred journey down the aisle.
Very Reverend Robert Webster performed a beautiful ceremony for William and Rosalie filled with a few jokes and reminiscent of knowing Rosalie since she was a little girl. Event at the wedding reception, he had everyone laughing saying he could one up William’s best man Matt Boyer because he was now William’s best Very Reverend.
After their ceremony and formal portraits inside, we headed outside to shoot in the quaint neighborhood surrounding the chapel. It was the way that Rosalie looked at William and how he hugged her tightly that brought tears to our eyes. You could just feel the love between the two and I knew that their wedding reception would be just as beautiful as their ceremony.
Jumping back in the limo, everyone headed over to Timacuan Golf Club for their black tie wedding reception. From the Uptown Music live band to a delicious cake by Top Tier, the night was perfect in every way. Wishing these two an incredible journey together!
