Alana and Whitney tied the knot during their Armature Works wedding in Tampa, Florida. A fun and unique marketplace venue with gorgeous brick walls that carry throughout, the two were excited to celebrate with their friends and family!
Arriving a bit early, we greeted our groom first who met us upstairs in the reception room. After boutonnieres were placed, we captured fun groom’s party portraits while everyone tried to keep a straight face. Alana arrived shortly after Whitney, and with us being ahead of schedule we headed down to the bridal suite to greet her.
Capturing details, putting on the dress, and more fun formals, but this time with our bride’s party, we were then off to our first look. A bustling venue with shops and restaurants, we opted to keep our couple inside to avoid the crowds. A gorgeous brick wall made for an excellent first look that was non-traditional in the first look sense. Back to back, the two read personal letters to one another, of course holding back tears, before turning to see each other at the same time – love!
Formal portraits were also against another beautiful brick backdrop with the bridal party as a whole, family, and of course more newlywed portraits.
Back by the bridal suite, the ceremony space was completed and guests were arriving. Walking down the aisle, it was clear as day capturing the two that they were madly in love. From their sweet ceremony, to personal vows, and of course Whitney always willing to hold a fan to cool Alana off, they were clearly meant for one another.
Cocktail hour was a great break away to capture mingling with guests and our couple’s reception space. Using the night as a great backdrop, we snuck outside for a few photos of our newlyweds before heading back inside again to start up dancing. Our night ended with hugs goodbye and well wishes!
Alana and Whitney, thank you so much for having us be a part of your big day!
