Abigail and Zachary met our photographer Dawn out at beautiful Bok Tower for the Summer engagement. Soon to be tying the knot at Laurel Oak Country Club in Sarasota, we loved learning about their vision and meeting the two in person!
How They Met
We met in college in 2015 in the worst class, philosophy of justice. He asked me out for coffee and pancakes (my favorite). We ended up spending the whole day together in Central Park and making that “our spot.”
What They Love Most
I love that he makes me laugh even when I feel like crying. I trust him wholeheartedly and can’t imagine life without him.
I love that she knows what I’m thinking all the time. We can do anything together and have an amazing time. She is my best friend and the greatest person in the world!
The Proposal
In April 2018 we were in Mexico. We were young and dumb and jokingly I asked her to marry me. Two years later on March 3, 2020, we took a cruise and the first stop was Mexico. So on a beach in Mexico I took her to the water asked her “do you remember our first trip here what I asked you?” I then got down on one knee and said “how about we get married for real?” And she said yes!
