Erin and Trenton tied the knot during their Club Lake Plantation wedding in Apopka, Florida. It has been an incredible journey getting to know the Netzorg family from capturing Trenton’s sister Rebekah’s wedding, to Trenton’s sister Dayna’s family portraits, to both Erin and Trenton’s senior portraits. Along this journey, these two sweethearts have become dear friends of mine, along with their amazing family.
It is crazy to think how love is just clearly meant to be sometimes. Back in 2013 when Erin first laid eyes on Trenton, she would not have guessed that his high school crush would end up being the love of her life. They met by pure luck when Erin was over babysitting for Trenton’s nephew. Trenton’s mom Katrina who was helping watch her grandson at the time while Dayna, his mom, was in the hospital recovering from having their darling daughter Anna, had not given Trenton the ‘heads up’ of the ‘hot babysitter’ that would be at their house when he arrived. Reflecting back on the hilariousness of Trenton’s comment, Erin remembers he said that “he was mad that his mom didn’t tell him that there was a hot babysitter at the house” when he arrived home a little sweaty from a rough football practice.
When Trenton walked in the house though, Erin didn’t see the sweaty jersey that Trenton felt like and was enamored by how cute he was. Attempting to introduce herself and take up a conversation, Trenton was unfortunately a little too nervous from being embarrassed. Thinking that he was blowing her off, Erin didn’t pursue the conversation that she attempted when he arrived, but decided to see if he was on Facebook when she got back home. Adding him on social media, Trenton invited her out to his church youth group and the two connected instantly. Of course Erin later found out that by no means was Trenton blowing her off, just rather intimidated by the “hot babysitter” sitting in his living room.
While Trenton definitely was starry eyed for Erin from the moment he met her, his love for her beauty goes so much deeper. Erin’s personality and sense of humor are truly his favorite traits. The way she can make him laugh and just relax by being herself to help him be himself makes them the perfect match. For Erin, it is the way that Trenton keeps her grounded and how he loves her unconditionally. Whenever she is becoming discouraged about life goals or tasks at hand, Trenton brings her back to focus and be able to continue to pursue on.
High school sweethearts turned into a forever love when Trenton took the first step towards marriage. Planning a special night out, Trenton took Erin to the Melting Pot for the two of them to celebrate their four-year dating anniversary. The night was amazing from the five start dining experience to the intimacy of it being just the two of them. Capping the night off, Trenton brought Erin home and as he walked her to the front door to kiss her goodbye for the night got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Completely unexpected, it was the perfect way to end a perfect night and the perfect way to start a perfect beginning.
Their wedding day felt like it flew by from the moment they began planning. Erin and Trenton envisioned a day that while may be a little nerve racking, would also be relaxing with the two taking their time getting ready and spending that time with those closest to them. Their vision turned into reality with being so well planned. Upon our arrival, we let the girls wrap up hair and makeup by starting with Erin’s details and capturing our dapper groom and groomsmen. Trenton surprised his guys with some funky glasses that read groom, best man, and groomsman, along with some pretty neat socks. From the barn to the bar, we had a blast taking shots as they did their best GQ face.
Located near the reception ballroom, the girls were finishing up final touches in the bridal suite. Let me just say, I LOVE lace trimmed long sleeve dresses and holy moly Erin’s dress did not disappoint. I may have been as excited as she was to wear it to take photos of it! After a few beautiful makeup shots and bridal portraits, we were off to the ceremony!
Taking place under the prettiest wooden gazebo flanked by the two largest oak trees on the property, their ceremony location was the perfect spot as the sun set behind them. Trenton’s step-father David who is a pasture officiated the wedding and spoke about the sanctity of marriage. Sharing their vows and a first kiss, the two turned to their family and friends with absolute tears of joy in their eyes as they realized they were officially Mr. and Mrs.!
The ceremony location was just too pretty not to utilize for formal portraits as well. Family on Erin’s side came all the way from New Zealand and Canada to be there for their special day. After wrapping up family portraits, we took the wedding party on the backside of the gazebo along a wide grassy field for more portraits before jumping to my favorite – newlywed portraits. All within a 30 second walk, we utilized a large pine forest, lush laurel oak, and black iron gate with a vine trellis for the backgrounds of their newlywed portraits together. Of course, I couldn’t resist grabbing one shot of our sweethearts in the reception ballroom as well, which was perfectly lit with candles and chandeliers.
Dancing and dining lasted throughout the night before a sparkler send-off goodbye!
Wishing my darlings an amazing life together filled with their faith, love, and family!
