Kylie & Mitchell's Cypress Grove Estate House Wedding

Kylie and Mitchell tied the knot during their beautiful Cypress Grove Estate House wedding. Back to back weddings at this gorgeous venue, made for an incredible weekend!

Four years ago in 2016, Kylie and Mitchell’s love story began. Meeting through a mutual friend at a local bar, the two had an instant connection and stayed late into the evening talking and learning about one another. Knowing he had to see her again, Mitchell asked for Kylie’s number and wasn’t long until the officially began dating!

From dating to romance to love, the two knew they would share their forever together long before the day actually came. That day took place the weekend before Thanksgiving in 2018 during a trip to St. Simon’s Island, Georgia when Mitchell proposed to Kylie during a stroll on a pier at sunset that overlooked the ocean and a gorgeous setting sun. Of course Kylie said, “yes!” and here we are today – or well here we were on their beautiful wedding day!

Cypress Grove Estate House, located in Cypress Grove Park, set the stage for Kylie and Mitchell’s wedding day. Arriving a bit early, Kylie being a similar organized type A like myself was well prepared with her details and dress ready for photos. The timing worked out perfectly and we were able to add in beautiful moments of sharing a hand written letter to both her mother and father, and of course Mitchell.

Reading his letter in private after getting ready, it was hard for Mitchell to hold back the tears. Emotion in writing was followed by emotion in person, as the two shared a first look. While rain showers came and went, we were able to bring our couple out for just long enough under the covered front steps for a first look, newlywed portraits, and bridal party portraits.

On the back lawn, overlooking the gorgeous lake view, beneath the gazebo, the two said “I do” in front of their friends and family. We were lucky enough for the rain to hold out not only during their ceremony, but the rest of the evening as well.

Reception entrances, followed by toasts, and formal dances, made for a beautiful start to a fun night of dancing; and ending with a sparkler send off. Wishing our sweet couple an amazing life together!
