Destination Florida Engagement
Traveling from Hong Kong to Florida to attend a work conference, Lin and Alex added a little bit of fun to their getaway with a destination Florida engagement. Having found me on Instagram, I was over the moon to finally meet Lin and Alex in person.
From Online to In Person
Online dating has definitely opened the door to the possibility of meeting ‘the one’ and sure enough it happened to Lin and Alex. Having met online through the Coffee Meets Bagel app, the two chatted for a bit before deciding to meet up offline and in person. Before their first date was over, Alex had asked her out on a second, and soon many followed after, along with falling in love.
Lin simply put fell in love with Alex through “his desire to glorify God.” For Alex, he also fell in love with Lin’s dedication to their faith, along with knowing what an amazing mother and wife she will be. Sweetly, Alex explained, “Lin is very special to me, she’s like the rarest Pokemon; you find one and you want to keep it forever and over. Always caring, considerate and teaches me to be a better version of myself.”
Proposal in China
Lovers of the great outdoors, Alex knew that he wanted to incorporate nature into their proposal and their sense of adventure. While on a weekend camping getaway, Alex proposed to Lin in their tent that they had pitched together. Intimate and just the two of them, it was the perfect proposal!
