Julie and Zachary met me out at their historic reception venue, Highland Manor, in Apopka, Florida for their darling engagement session. Just in time before the rain rolled in, we captured so many beautiful images with deep blue skies above. Looking forward to our team capturing their LDS sealing at the Orlando Florida Temple in Windermere, Florida this November!
How They Met
We met at church, and had always seen each other around at different activities, and had always felt a connection to each other even when we were too shy to talk. Finally, our bishop’s wife set us up on a blind “date” to deliver Thanksgiving food to families in our church. On that car ride we became best friends instantly. I wasn’t so sure about starting a relationship because I was thinking about transferring to a college all the way in Utah, but we fell in love and knew we needed to be together forever 🙂
What They Love Most About One Another
Zach says he loves my caring nature, my sense of humor, spiritual strength, and our shared nerdy interests. He says he’s never doubted that I’d make the best wife ever. I love that Zach is so determined and dedicated to absolutely everything he does, while still being the most caring and loving man I’ve ever met. I also love when he sings 🙂
The Proposal
We were at Magic Kingdom for the day, and he told me he wanted to take some new pictures in front of the castle because “he didn’t like our old ones”. So we go and stand in front of the castle while his sister and brother in law snap pictures of us, and he turns to me and proposes! I knew he was going to propose soon but I was so shocked, it was beautiful and a dream come true. I had always wanted to be proposed to in front of the castle and he knew that without even having to ask me.
