Lauren and Scott met me out in the heart of their now hometown Mount Dora for their darling engagement session. The two visit the downtown area often from having a date night out to enjoying the local parks.
How They Met
Lauren was cashiering at her old job. Scott was a regular there and they had spoken a few times about their love of comic books and games. One day, Scott asked Lauren for her contact info so that she could give him the location of a local comic book shop that he hadn’t been to yet. That night, the two of them talked for several hours and the rest is history.
What They Love Most About One Another
Scott loves how giving and caring Lauren is to all of those around her. Lauren loves how Scott can make her laugh with his terrible puns.
The Proposal
Scott planned a dinner with both of their parents. Lauren’s parents were kind enough to lend their house and cook dinner for the occasion. While all of them were sitting around talking, Lauren’s mother brought Skully (Lauren’s greyhound) into the other room and placed the ring box around Skully’s neck on a bow. Skully came back over with the ring, but he dropped it part way over. Lauren’s mother picked it up and handed the box to Scott. Scott told Lauren that Skully was bringing the box over for her. Lauren started crying while Scott slipped the ring on her finger.
