Holly and Erin met me out at the beautiful Mead Gardens for their picturesque rose garden engagement. Stumbling upon the dappled bushes and trees that had an assortment of roses and other flowers, it was an absolutely stunning find. With roses at the end of their season, the ground was also sprinkled with petals, which made for an even more romantic look.
Almost three years ago, Holly and Erin first met one another at Santiago’s Bordega on Virginia Ave. in Orlando. The exact date was November 29th of 2015, and Erin remembers distinctly the moment he first saw Holly. The two began dating and fell in love with one another’s inner and outer beauty. For Holly, it was clear as day that Erin’s sense of humor and lighthearted personality brought a smile to her face to help make her feel at ease during their engagement session. For Erin, Holly’s charm and whit is what he loves most, oh and of course how stunningly gorgeous she is too!
Having dated for a few year, Erin planned out a trip to Martha’s Vineyard where he planned not only to take Holly on a vacation, but also to pop the question. Between cancelled flights, lost luggage (thankfully Erin had the ring with him and not in his suitcase!), and rainy days – Erin still managed to bring Holly to a beautiful lighthouse where he was able to ask for her hand in marriage. As Erin recalls, Holly “kept wandering around the lighthouse in the middle of my spiel. I gathered my nerves and finally just got down on one knee, which gave it away.” Shocked, excited, and completely not expecting a proposal, Holly of course said “yes!”
As far as wedding advice from my ‘soon to be’s’, they both highly recommend giving yourself plenty of time to research and plan so that you are not unprepared or feel rushed through the planning of your big day.
Looking forward to our team capturing these two tie the knot this August!
