Lindsay & Ryan’s Falcon’s Fire Golf Club Wedding – Captured by Steve

Lindsay and Ryan tied the knot during Falcon’s Fire Golf Club wedding in Kissimmee, Florida, captured by our team photographer Steve.  The two envisioned a romantic and fun day filled with Florida nature from moss to succulents, along with a color scheme of light blue for the sky and hints of greens and tans to go with their more nature-esque theme.

How They Met

We first meet in 2011 when working together during the Disney College Program. Just friends for over a year a first, our friendship eventually started to grow as we were spending nearly everyday together by August 2012.

What They Love Most About One Another

What Ryan loves most about Lindsay is her energy that makes him always wants to be around her even if they are not talking. What Lindsay loves most about Ryan is his sense of humor and ability to always make her laugh. We balance each other through and through, always bringing out the best in each other.

The Proposal

After over a month of researching diamonds, and plenty of searching, Ryan finally found a ring worthy of giving to Lindsay. He decided that their puppy Reggie, had to be involved somehow, so on February 4, 2017 he chose to take Lindsay and Reggie on a hike to nearby Lake Louisa State Park. In order to hide the ring box, Ryan wore cargo shorts and put the ring in the pocket on the side. The ring box was very bulky so he decided to stuff something else in there. The first thing that came to mind was of course underwear. Now Lindsay was a bit suspicious because Ryan almost always wears basketball shorts, and as they got in the car she noticed something in Ryan’s pocket. She asked “what do you have in there Ryan, underwear?” Ryan replied sarcastically “yea Lindsay, I have underwear in my pocket…” So they made it to the park, and the ranger recommended taking a hike to a bridge in the park that was “magical”, which Ryan thought would be a great place to pop the question. Well neither of them had ever been here before, and the trails were not well marked, so Lindsay and Ryan found themselves lost very quickly. Not knowing if they would ever make it to the bridge, or even find their way out, Ryan got down on one knee with the puppy sitting next to him and popped the question. While Reggie redirected his attention to chewing a stick, Lindsay cried and said yes! Well, after that they finally made it to the “magical” bridge to take a picture. I would say it was OK at best, but the moment was magical, and they eventually made out alive!
