Reunion Resort Wedding
Daishawnai and OJ tied the knot during their Reunion Resort wedding in Kissimmee, Florida. A beautiful resort, the two traveled in for their destination wedding from Bermuda!
Bermuda, where it all began…
Just over 20 years ago, Dai and OJ met for the first time in St. David’s, Bermuda at the St. David’s Cricket Club. Dai’s cousin was friends with OJ and introduced him to Dai; from then on the two became the best of friends. Their friendship took a turn for love when several years later OJ and Dai spoke about their feelings for one another. Nervous at first to venture into this new chapter together, they realized that they had built a foundation of friendship for their love to grow upon. 13 years alter, they welcomed their daughter D’Ani into their lives, which brought them even more joy than they could ever imagine.
Wedding Day at Reunion Resort
Planning their wedding from Bermuda has been an epic experience that came together perfectly. Arriving to Dai’s condo where her and her girls were getting ready first, we captured the girls getting in their dresses, bridal portraits, and beautiful moments shared between Dai with her mom and daughter. While our girls were getting ready at the condo, OJ and his guys met us out in front of the beautiful hotel for their getting ready an formal portraits.
Having a larger bridal party, we decided to knock out our couples individual party’s formal portraits beforehand to allow for more time for family portraits. I loved how OJ and his guys tried to be serious for a few photos, but couldn’t help but break out almost immediately into laughter. Hiding away our guys, we brought our bride out to the nearby garden for her party’s formal portraits as well, and finished just in time before the rain began to set in.
Reunion Resort Wedding Ceremony
Back inside, our couple shared a sweet first touch where they held hands and prayed together before their ceremony began. While the rain may have brought their ceremony inside, the gorgeous ballroom was still a beautiful backdrop for tying the knot!
A unity tying followed by communion sealed the deal before sharing a first kiss and of course saying “I do, too!” While the hotel flipped the room from a ceremony to the reception, we ventured out into the lobby to take advantage of the gorgeous mirrors and chandeliers for formal portraits.
Reunion Resort Wedding Reception
Reception entrances, followed by toasts, dining and dancing filled the night before concluding with a sparker send off. Wishing our sweethearts an amazing life together with their daughter D’Ani and safe travels home to Bermuda!
