Radiating with elegance and warmth, the venue’s cascading drapes and sparkling chandeliers provided the perfect backdrop for Renee, who exuded timeless grace and charm on her special day, truly embodying the essence of a princess bride.
How They Met
We met in 10th grade English class, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We graduated both high school and college together and have been able to be part of each other’s lives for very monumental events. It was actually our 10th grade English teacher at the time who acted as our matchmaker and we are very grateful for her. We speak to her till this day.
What They Love About Each Other
The thing I love most about Nick is his personality. Not only is Nick incredibly funny, he’s also charismatic, caring, loving, and a shoulder to lean on when I need it. I can talk to him about anything and he helps work through the difficult times in life. He’s not afraid to show his feelings and strives to make sure I feel loved daily.
The Proposal
Nick proposed in Stetson Park on April 6, 2022. We had many food dates in college and one of them involved eating subway in the back of my car, like a mini picnic., He recreated this date, complete with a picnic basket and he also purchased my favorite cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes and asked me to be his wife. Days leading up to the event, I definitely ‘felt’ like he was getting ready to propose. I tend to be kind of simple with nail designs and he was adamant about having my nails done and that it had to be done by a certain day, and this was a dead giveaway. The day of the proposal, he laid out his favorite dress, and wrote a note saying “wear this tonight” and I was absolutely positive that was the day.
Wedding Day Vision
I want the love we have for each other captured incredibly. My vision is a romantic and elegant wedding, my dress makes me feel like Cinderella and I want to ‘feel like a princess that day’. My bridesmaids are wearing mulberry with my MOH’s wearing a strapless dress, my mother’s birth flower are chrysanthemums, so I want that incorporated throughout the bouquets. The venue is very elegant with chandelier’s and draping to make it warm and provides a very warm feeling. We’ll have a very full dessert table complete with cheesecake bites, macarons, donuts, fruit tarts, the works. We hope our DJ will get and keep everyone on their feet throughout the night. Good vibes are what we want for our wedding. Our goal is to have our guests well fed and partying throughout the night.
