Madison and Garrett tied the knot during their Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club wedding in St. Petersburg, Florida. The two envisioned a love-filled, fun, and elegant beach wedding filled with their family and friends who were traveling across the U.S. and outside of the country to be a part of their special day from Canada, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, New Hampshire, New York, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, to Alabama.
How They Met
Two of my best friends in high school were dating two of his best friends from high school (we went to separate schools). When I finally got over being shy, we went on our first real date and we hit it off.! A month later he asked me to be his girlfriend! 5 years later, here we are getting married!
What They Love Most About One Another
Madison: Garrett is everything I’ve ever hoped for. He’s funny, sweet, loving, and so incredibly supportive. He can brighten any of my bad days and make the good days even better. He’s the first person I want to tell good news, bad news, exciting news, or even just call to say hi. He is my absolute favorite person, and I can’t wait to live life with my best friend.
Garrett: Madie is one of the kindest people I have ever met, she is able to always cheer me up after a tough day of work and always knows how to give me a pick me up when I need it. Since the beginning of our relationship she has shown me the kindness and respect I have come to rely on, and ever since we first met, I knew that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life.
The Proposal
We went on a trip to NYC right after Christmas in 2016, and he proposed on the terrace of the infamous rooftop bar at the top of Rockefeller Plaza, Bar 65 at Rainbow Room! It was a complete surprise and definitely the happiest moment of both of our lives!
