Aubrey and Josh sealed their love at the LDS Orlando Temple in Windermere, Florida this past weekend. Their sealing was celebrated on Friday night and their wedding was on Saturday at the gorgeous Mission Inn Resort & Club. The Orlando LDS Temple is truly a wondrous location. From the massive columns to the stunning white exterior, it is just so incredibly beautiful. Aubrey surprised Josh with wanting to capture his expression when she exited the temple instead of exiting out together. The love in his eyes when she appeared from the sliding glass doors was so overwhelming and everyone had tears in their eyes.
After kisses, hugs, and family portraits, Josh, Aubrey, myself, and Aubrey’s bestie Leah wandered the grounds in search for the perfect photo spots. The gorgeous sunset with a cooling breeze made for the perfect night to take photos. We started off in back of the temple, made our way to the grey stone road, and after ended in front of the temple. You can truly see how grand and massive the exterior is against the tiny couple.
Saturday was also a very special day for the two, as they celebrated being married with friends and family by having their wedding at the Mission Inn Resort & Club. Katie Jimenez, Aubrey’s wedding coordinator at the Mission Inn Resort & Club, put together an absolutely spectacular wedding. Aubrey’s gorgeous hairdo styled at Arbor Park Salon held up perfectly both days. Her gorgeous lace and embellished rhinestone wedding dress from David’s Bridal was the perfect elegant complement to her natural makeup. Aubrey’s bridesmaids and best friends helped dress her in the bridal suite and prepare for her walk down the aisle.
The ceremony was held in front of a whimsical stone fountain right outside of the reception ballroom. Guests sat under a massive oak tree, shading them from the sun, overlooking the pristine golf course. The bridal party wore a deep navy blue and carried pastel pink flowers created by Miss Daisy’s Flowers & Gifts. During the ceremony, friends and family came up to give a prayer for the two and talk about the importance of marriage and what marriage truly means. From how one another looked at one anotehr, you could tell that they were puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together.
The options are absolutely endless for formal shots at the Mission Inn Resort & Club. We decided to stay close for their family and bridal party portraits, but traveled off to the golf course, stone bridges, and Tuscany style hotel for couple’s portraits.
Once finished, we headed back to the reception ballroom located in the clubhouse. Aubrey and Josh created beautiful teacup candle centerpieces with baby’s breath flowers for the guests to enjoy at every table. As a thank you to everyone who came to celebrate, guests received the sweetest little succulent plant.
Their brunch reception including an omelet station and waffle stand was so delicious. DJ Carl with Dream Day Digital had everyone out on the floor after brunch dancing and laughing to Taylor Swift (yes, Aubrey snuck one song in), Ed Sheeran, and so many other favorites. During dancing, guests took a brief pause to watch Aubrey and Josh play the shoe game. The two would raise one another’s shoe to answer the DJ’s questions, like who cleans the most, who is the best dresser, and who is the sweetest. Before the night ended we cut the cake from Party Flavors Custom Cakes and said our goodbyes with a bubble send off! Wishing these two the very best in their journey through life together!
