Amanda & Jose’s Magnolia House at Trilogy Wedding

Magnolia House at Trilogy Wedding

Amanda and Jose tied the knot during their Magnolia House wedding in Clermont, Florida.  Envisioning a day filled of absolute fun, laughter, and love, the two celebrated with all of their family and friends!

A little co-ed softball anyone?

From the moment they met back in August of 2013 while playing on a Disney co-ed softball team, Jose knew there was something special about Amanda.  Joses best man even noted in his speech about how he would take about the “cute white girl” he met on his team.  Well that “cute white girl” grabbed his attention with her stunning smile and beautiful heart.  After connecting off the field for their first date about a month later, they became absolutely inseparable.

Surprise Proposal in San Antonio

As their family grew with welcoming their son, Bentley, so did their love as a family.  Proposing to Amanda during a trip to San Antonio, Texas while visiting Jose’s family, he dropped to one knee while they were at the Riverwalk and asked for her hand in marriage.  Clearly nervous while proposing, he actually dropped the ring box at first – literally a foot from the river – but recovered it just in time to reveal a beautiful engagement ring.  And of course, Amanda said, “yes!”

Wedding Day at Magnolia House

Their wedding day was truly a burst full of joy like their personalities.  Upon arriving a big early, we were so excited to be greeted by Amanda who already had hair and makeup complete.  Ahead of schedule right off the bat, we used the extra time to grab a father-daughter first look after Amanda put on her dress.  A beautiful moment, filled with many tears, including our own, it was so special to witness the love her parents have for her.  While our girls were enjoy girl time together before walking down the aisle, we headed over to Jose who arrived shortly after.

After capturing a few ‘suiting up’ shots, we headed to the stunningly beautiful hallways the Magnolia House has to offers.  Boasting of natural light and a contemporary grey and yellow style, the hallways were the perfect backdrop for Jose and his groomsmen’s group portraits.

With their ceremony taking place outside, we headed out to prepare for their procession.  While Amanda was absolutely gorgeous, I must say that little Bentley might have stole the show as he entered to DJ Kass’ Scooby Doo Pa Pa with security glasses, a badge, and a briefcase holding the invaluable wedding bands.  Side note – when we first photographed Bentley’s adorable security attire, I asked Amanda if he would be able to really carry the rings since so many of our little ones don’t actually carry the real deal.  Her response, she trusted him more than Jose’s groom’s party – literally laughed out loud on this one – sorry guys!

Seeing Amanda for the first time as she walked down the aisle brought Jose to tears.  The emotion of the moment was inspirational of what a beautiful love truly is – family, kindness, and forever.

Their ceremony was led by Pastor Ricardo Torres who discussed the beauty of marriage.  One of my favorite moments was a ‘locking,’ where locks were placed on a family tree for each of their family members.  With “I do’s” said and a first kiss shared, our couple headed off down the aisle as officially Mr. and Mrs.!

With such a beautiful soft light radiating around their ceremony arch, we had our family head back out after the ceremony for formal portraits.  Capturing a large bridal party shot, quick outdoor shot of the guys, and bride’s party portraits, we were on to my favorite moment – newlywed portraits!

The sun enhanced in its beauty even more so as a yellow glow came in through the trees for the backdrop of our sweethearts portraits.  Walking along the manicured bushes and rose petals that had been thrown during their ceremony, we captured the two.

Back inside guests enjoyed cocktail hour and were welcomed in before our couple’s reception entrance started.  Formal dances, toasts, dining and dancing took place in the grand ballroom.  As our night winded down, we said farewell to our couple with the biggest hugs.

Wishing my amazing little family a beautiful life together!
