Jasmine and Razzie’s elegant engagement in Metro West was the perfect way to kick off their wedding week with the two tying the knot at the Metro West Golf Club this Saturday! The Tuscany feel of the plaza added to elegance along with Jasmine and Razzie’s wardrobe choices of a red dress and three-piece suit.
While their engagement and wedding will be taking place this week, their story began back in 2009 when the two met in college. At the time, Razzie was a senior at Boston College finishing school and Jasmine was a sophomore at the University of Maine. Both shared a mutual interest and passion for sports, which led to a lasting friendship by keeping in touch until Razzie moved back to Boston from Florida.
Moving back allowed for more in person visits with Razzie visiting Jasmine on the weekends while she still lived in Maine, which led to them making their relationship official in April of 2012 when Razzie asked Jasmine to be his girlfriend. Their luck continued as a couple together, when Jasmine accepted a job offer and moved to Boston to be with Razzie. As Jasmine reflects back on such an amazing year, “things couldn’t of worked out more perfectly for us. Life separated us for 3 years when we started out only as friends, but G-d brought us back as a couple. We are so blessed and so thankful for one another!”
Over the years Razzie fell even more in love with how beautiful of a soul Jasmine has, from the way she cares so deeply for her family to the way she stands up for herself and others who cannot. Oh and of course, Razzie could not forget to mention how stylish Jasmine dresses and an amazing cook she is as well!
Jasmine is extremely driven and seeing the same drive in passion in Razzie was the perfect complement. His faith and positivity are extremely motivating to their relationship and to those around him. Truly as Jasmine explains it, “I never hear Razzie complain about a think and he sees the good in everything and everyone, it’s truly admiring.”
Their proposal was just as romantic as their engagement. Taking place in Boston, the two enjoyed a detour of taking a scenic route on their way home from dinner as they walked along the Marina Bay overlooking the city skyline. Breathtakingly beautiful, the city’s twinkling lights across the water and nice dinner made for a very romantic night. Right their among the stars, Razzie got down on one knee and asked Jasmine to marry him. Just as Jasmine thought the night couldn’t have been more beautiful, Razzie surprised her with an engagement proposal, and of course she said yes. Truly the two agree it was the most “beautiful moment” that they have ever shared together.
I am so over the moon to be able to capture their wedding day and look forward to seeing the next big “beautiful moment” in their lives.
