Claire and Luke’s wedding at the stunning Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater, Florida was nothing short of timeless elegance. With the sparkling ocean as their backdrop, they said “I do” on the resort’s manicured turf, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Claire wore an effortlessly elegant gown with delicate lace overlay and off-the-shoulder sleeves, while Luke looked classic and refined in a black tux. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the newlyweds slipped away for portraits on the beach, where pink and orange skies created a picture-perfect glow. From start to finish, their day was filled with joy, beauty, and unforgettable moments—ending with an unforgettable celebration back inside the resort.
The Proposal
We were ready to go to a museum in St. Petersburg, FL. It was a gorgeous sunny day, around 65 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. We always go to the Safety Harbor pier to get pictures before every fancy dinner and event that we have, as it’s close to our condo and on the water. We love being by the water because we live directly on the bay, with panoramic views of the water and sunrises over the bay each morning. We couldn’t find a parking spot anywhere, and finally found one after a great deal of searching. We went to the pier and got some pictures, and I suggested we stay to watch the dolphins that were swimming nearby. He said the moment couldn’t have been more perfect, as I asked to stay even longer. He said some beautiful words and got down on one knee. I said yes with tears in my eyes, and everyone on the pier started clapping and cheering. They took pictures of the proposal and the joy that we shared in that moment together. It will forever be one of my favorite memories with my best friend, my soul mate, and my partner in life.
