Rockledge Country Club Wedding

Tory and Tyler tied the knot during their Rockledge Country Club wedding in Rockledge, Florida. A special golf club to the two, Tyler actually grew up on the course and even worked their as a teenager. Coming back to his hometown to celebrate with both of the friends and families made for an incredibly special day.

How They Met

My couple’s story first began through Tory meeting Tyler by way of her sister’s mutual friend group. Friends for five years before they began dating, Tory as she explained, “slid into his DMs and asked him out on a date.” Of course the rest was history from there!

Rockledge Country Club Proposal

When planning his proposal to Tory, Tyler knew that he wanted it to be extra special. Bringing her to the 10th hole on the green on June 29th of last year at the Rockledge Country Club, Tyler asked for Tory’s hand in marriage. Fast forward just one year later, the two officially tied the knot!

Wedding Day at Rockledge Country Club

Wedding day felt so extra special being back one year later from when Tyler first proposed. Arriving a bit early, Tory and Tyler’s respective parties soon arrived as well and we jumped right into action with photographing both parties getting ready, and while the girls changed tackled all of Tory’s little details. I must say that her “Mrs. Holland” wine to go cup was pretty adorable. Following getting ready, we brought Tyler outside on the green to get ready for their first look.

Walking down the long way to Tyler, Tory radiated in her gown and when finally turning to see her, it was hard for Tyler to hold back the tears. Enjoying a moment together before the craziness of their big day really began, we enjoyed capturing newlywed portraits of our sweethearts. Knocking out our bridal party’s formal portraits as well, we brought out our bridesmaids and groomsmen to join in on the picture fun. Wrapping up right as the rain began to trickle down, we rushed Tory and Tyler inside.

Rockledge Country Club Wedding Ceremony

As the rain began to pour down, we partnered up with our couple’s coordinator Vanessa in locating a plan B option which turned out to be so incredibly stunning. Stairs leading to wooden doors at the entrance of the club, paired with their floral arch, made for the perfect backup ceremony spot. Creating an aisle way for our bride that wound through guests and led straight to Tyler worked perfectly. While Tyler may have held back the tears during their first look, they soon came once he saw Tory again down the aisle.

Special ceremony traditions included the sharing of communion and a sand pouring as they joined together as one family. After their ceremony, we moved quickly through formal portraits with their families and after some of my favorite shots of the day – our newlyweds in their reception room.

Reception entrances were followed by a pretty killer first dance the included bubbles and fog. Our night concluded with a sparkler send off and sweet goodbyes. Wishing our sweethearts an amazing life filled with just as much happiness as they shared on their big day!
