Shades of Green Wedding

Mariah and Cody’s Disney Shades of Green wedding in Lake Buena Vista, Florida was such a beautiful day! Filled with all things Disney from Star Wars to Mickey, their destination wedding focused on all of their favorite things!

How They Met

From Mariah, “Cody and I met through a close friend. Our first time meeting was February 4th 2017 at Korea House BBQ. It was a perfect first date. we talked for hours and i don’t think i ever laughed so much.”

What They Love Most

Cody about Mariah: “What do I love about Mariah? I love her eyes. I love her smile. I love when she gets really excited she has the cutest dimples on her face. I love that she is just as big of a nerd as I am. I love that she loves her family. I love that she is hard headed as any human in the world and then sweet as anyone can be. I love that she can be scared. I love that she can be adventurous (now). But most of all I love that she loves me.”

Mariah about Cody: “I love everything about Cody. He is the sweetest and kindest man I have ever met. He always has a smile on his face. Cody never lets anything get him down and he always has a positive outlook on everything. He encourages me to follow my dreams and i truly believe he thinks i could anything. I love that he loves me exactly as I am. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with him!”

The Proposal

From Mariah, “We got engaged on March 17th 2019 at Magic Kingdom. He knows Disney is my favorite place in the world. We had just arrived at Magic Kingdom from Animal Kingdom and I was so cranky. I was tired and we had to make the 6 hour drive back home and work the next day. Cody suggested we take pictures in front of the castle before we headed home. The photopass photographer started taking pictures and I thought my mom was also taking pictures of us. Cody suggested i move up some and take some pictures of myself. As the photographer is taking the pictures I hear Cody behind me saying “Mariah”. When i turned around he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was sooooo surprised and of course I said yes!”
