The Acre Orlando Engagement

Elizabet and Randy met me out at The Acre for their engagement session, which also just so happens to be their wedding venue. A whimsical place, their session was nothing but beautiful.

How They Met

Back in 2007, my sweethearts first met while both working at Target in Bainbridge, Ohio. Friends for over a year, the two would hang out playing cards with friends as a group, sharing lunch at work, and just getting to know one another. Soon though their friendship went to the next level when Randy asked Elizabet out on a date. Their natural chemistry led into a romance.

What They Love Most

Building on the foundation of friendship, Elizabet and Randy fell in love with one another at a whole new level. For Elizabet, Randy’s kindness to both her and those around them has always been her favorite attribute of him. As she explains, “he makes me take a step back from my “always on the go” personality and stop to enjoy life.” For Randy, it is Elizabet’s easy going spirit and of course her stunning smile that he loves most. While Randy encourages Elizabet to “stop and smell the roses,” it is Elizabet that encourages Randy to leave his “comfort zone” to “strive for more.”

The Proposal

Randy knew he had found ‘the one’ in Elizabet, and while wanting to plan out his proposal at the beach – her favorite place to go, he also knew that her parents would be in town the first weekend of March, which would be a special time to propose. Waiting for that weekend to come felt like years, but finally it did. One morning when the two woke up, Randy turned to Elizabeth in their bed and asked her to marry him. Completely unexpected, Elizabet of course said, “yes” and the two celebrated later that evening with her parents. A special moment, it meant so much to Elizabet that her parents were in town at the same time.
