White Room Wedding

Tatiana and Thomas tied the knot during their White Room wedding in St Augustine, Florida. Set in the picturesque historic district of St Augustine, their wedding was simply spectacular.

Having met their junior year of college while Tatiana was attending the University of Central Florida and Thomas was attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, they began talking and realized they had a connection. After a three month friendship, Thomas asked Tatiana on their first official date, which included mini golf and Chipotle – a fav of Tatiana’s that Thomas even mentioned in his vows. Since that special day, they became absolutely inseparable and two years later Thomas proposed to Tatiana at The Breakers, which of course Tatiana said, “yes!”

Fast forward to their wedding day, I couldn’t wait to see Tatiana and Thomas again since first meeting them at their engagement session. Together, they had been thoughtfully planning their big day and keeping me in the loop with all of the beautiful details.

Starting off with Tatiana, we utilized the bridal suite at The White Room for her getting ready and ventured around downtown St Augustine for her bride’s party portraits. Budgeting extra time, as its quite a walk wherever you go, we had such a blast with our girls against beautiful backdrops of light pink buildings and cobblestone streets with quaint houses.

Hiding Tatiana back in the bridal suite, we met up with Thomas and his groom’s party at the Chatsworth Public House, shout out to the manager for letting us in! I loved the dramatic lighting we used on Thomas and his group for their getting ready time, and the hilariousness that his father brought to the table when adjusting Thomas boutonnière. After Thomas’ getting ready period had commenced, we headed back to a cobblestone street used for our girls and also a few other historic buildings for his groom’s party portraits.

Up on the third floor at The White Room, guests began to funnel in to our couple’s wedding ceremony location known as Villa Blanca. A white chapel with beautiful natural light, it felt like such a dream ceremony location. After “I do’s” were shared, our couple jumped a broom to symbolize starting fresh together as a couple.

Formal portraits of Tatiana and Thomas’ families took place inside, along with their bridal party, before we headed outside with our newlyweds for newlywed portraits. Between hidden alleyways and the pastel yellow walls of the outside of The White Room, the options were endless for our couple’s photos.

Back up on the rooftop, our couple made their grand entrance following their bridal party and dove into their first dance, followed by toasts, more formal dances, and the night opening for everyone invited to dance as well. A special send off included sparklers and a getaway car as guests waived goodbye.
