It was a big day for the Ishlam family who welcomed baby Isles to the world this past week. You may remember Jen from her adorable, industrial John Deere maternity session in a Florida orange grove. After our session, Jen had asked me if I would be interested in capturing the interaction baby Isles would have when she meets her big brother Gabel and big sister Arden in the hospital. I of course said yes and couldn’t wait for baby Isles to arrive!
Baby Isles made her grand entrance to the world into the arms of her daddy Gabe. At just over nine pounds, this little one has the cutest, and I mean the cutest, chubby cheeks, full head of beautiful, brown hair, and the sweetest personality.
New to hospital sessions, I knew that it would be a great opportunity to capture more of a moody session with natural light so as not to both our little one with flash. Brother Gabel, also known as Brother Bear, introduced me to Isles right off the bat, but soon lost focus after having fun playing with moving mommy Jen’s bed up and down. Little Arden was enjoying a red lollypop, while being held by dad. She was definitely entranced by baby Isles, but it took seeing her big brother Gabel hold Isles until she felt comfortable as well.
Grandma Linda was an absolute doll in helping get the little ones to the hospital and keeping the lollypop pops away from Isles, which Gabel lovingly thought she would enjoy.
After some time with big brother and big sister, the two headed home with grandma so that mom and dad could have time with their new arrival.
Looking forward to seeing this smart little cookie as she grows throughout the years to come!
