Tiffanie and Michael met me out at the beautiful Rollins College campus for their darling winter engagement. Fitting for the chilly time of year, the two wore deep hues of navy and maroon to complement one another.
High school sweethearts, the two began their love story during senior year. Both had a crush on each other, however Tiffanie was too shy to tell Michael about her feelings. With their senior year wrapping up, it wouldn’t be for another year until they would meet again. During a job interview at Publix where Michael worked, Tiffanie ran into him and he helped her out with putting in a recommendation. Shortly being hired after, they began chatting again and started dating just a few months after.
Tiffanie fell in love with Michael’s little quirks and how silly he can be. As she explains, “he is serious a lot of the time, but when he gets all goofy with that huge smile on his face, it makes me fall in love with him all over again.” For Michael, it is the time the Tiffanie dedicates to their relationship in spending every day together. From just hanging out to going on dates, knowing that she is by his side is the best feeling in the world.
During a family vacation near St. Pete Beach, Michael planned out a special surprise that would sweep Tiffanie off her feet. It had been about three years since they began dating, but Tiffanie didn’t know that a proposal would be soon. Spending some time alone one night for a walk along the water, they admired the stunning sunset in one another’s company. What felt like a sudden stop to their walk, Michael bent down on one knee and completely took Tiffanie by surprise as he proposed. As Tiffanie recalls, “is this for real” was all she could keep asking in such excitement, which of course Michael said, “yes” too. It was the perfect moment to begin their journey to marriage.
