Fashion photography is a fun way to try out different techniques that I can bring back into my weddings. This past week I worked with several Orlando fashion bloggers to feature their stylish ensembles for the season. Alpa Rama, owner of A Parisian in America, coordinated the shoot with her fellow fashionistas, while I worked with Liz Andert, owner of Scout & Molly’s, to find the perfect spots for shooting. Scout & Molly’s is just the perfect little spot off Park Ave. to pick up unique and beautiful pieces. From colorful florals to deep purples and blacks, the boutique is sure to have the perfect piece for any occasion. My personal favorites are the adorable scarfs in stock right now that double as a cape to drape over a dress for going out.
Our shoot started off with some quick headshots of the bloggers. We focused on everything from jewelry to glasses. After our headshots, we moved to full body shots to feature their entire winter outfits. I love how everyone coordinated on the deeper black side with pops of silver and gold. With their portraits taken inside, we headed outside to grab a few more photos of the whole crew. At the time a vintage car show was taking place off Park Ave., which made for a perfect backdrop of a group photo. Looking forward to the next shoot!
