Ana and Kenzie met me out at Little Manatee River State Park in Wimauma, Florida for their gorgeous engagement. Between the beautiful light flooding in through the natural Florida foliage, to the clear beauty of their love for one another, the session felt simply in one word – ethereal.
Having connected online back in February of 2016, the two decided to meet in person. Within that first week of meeting, they both realized that fate had brought them together and that they were meant to be.
Kenzie fell deeply in love with how understanding an considerate Ana is. As she explains, Ana “always seems to think about my best interest before anything else.” Putting others before her, she cares endlessly about those in her life, especially Kenzie. For Ana, Kenzie’s patience and demeanor in how hard of a worker she is, are attributes that she fell in love with. As Ana explains, Kenzie, “always inspires me to be a better me.” Unselfish love, lasting love, is truly love that preserves in encouraging each other to be a better person, both individually and in their relationship. The attributes that Kenzie and Ana fell in love with, are by definition of a lasting love.
It wasn’t long before Kenzie not only knew that she had found the one, but the one to spend the rest of her life with. In December of 2016, Kenzie planned out a surprise proposal for Ana. Having picked out a ring, she enlisted the help of their friend Diana to hold the ring box for the night so Ana wouldn’t see. Kenzie even personalized the ring box by buying a makeup bronzer box as another surprise, which of course Ana would love since she is a makeup artist.
The night she proposed, the two were at Ana’s holiday work party with their friends. Completely unexpected, Kenzie asked Ana for her hand in marriage, and of course Ana said, “yes!”
With their big day just right around the corner, they have kept focus on what matters most, as Kenzie explains “having all of their friends and family to support us through this exciting new chapter in our lives.”
Looking forward to capturing these two tie the knot this November at Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin, Florida!
