Kristen Minnear and Tim Inglis tied the knot during their Mead Botanical Garden wedding and reception that followed at the lovely Winter Park Woman’s Club. My sweet couple actually met back in the Summer of 2010 while they were both working at Islands of Adventure. One of my favorite rides, The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride, brought them together as friends and soon a budding romance followed.
After several years of dating, Tim knew that there was no other girl in the world for him and as Dr. Seuss would put it, “you know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” Tim proposed to Kristen on their anniversary day, which is so incredibly thoughtful. Proposal day started off with Tim leaving Kristen sweet little gifts and love letters in the morning followed by an afternoon trip to her favorite spot in Orlando, Lake Eola. While walking around the lake, the two stopped at a dock that they always take pictures at. As Kristen turned around to get ready for a picture, the face smiling back at her was her sister taking pictures. In complete shock she looked back at Tim who was on his knee asking her to marry him and of course she said yes!
The two started off their wedding day at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Orlando before heading to the Mead Gardens for a first look. I just loved Kristen’s something borrowed, blue, old, and new ranging from a sweet little tag added to her dress to a blue, heart bead. Kristen was also rocking some adorable white, lace Toms that were perfect for her walk down the aisle.
Mead Gardens was beaming with vibrant flowers, lush green trees, and one very excited dad. Kristen’s dad hadn’t had the chance to see her at the hotel, while putting on her gown, as we wanted the beauty of Mead to be the backdrop. As dad walked up, you could see the absolute overwhelming joy in his eyes. It was such a beautiful moment followed by another first look with her handsome groom Tim. The two have a very beautiful friendship in addition to their romance. You can feel the support one another provides from Kristen fixing Tim’s buttons to Tim hugging her tight and making her laugh. I knew that the ceremony would be as darling as my couple.
Tim’s step mom acted as the officiant for their darling wedding. From reading about the beauty of marriage to a lovely lighting ceremony, it was truly a gorgeous day. After the ceremony we headed off for family photos in the garden along with wedding party in tow. Tim’s groomsmen had me cracking up as they attempted duff while jumping up. The girls were absolutely lovely and shined with the sun beaming behind them.
After wedding party shots we moved on to newlywed portraits along the garden path. With such a beautiful day coming to a close, it was time for the reception to begin.
Held at the Winter Park Woman’s Club, their reception was filled with navy, gold, blush, and hot pink tones from up lighting. Dancing lasted late into the night, but came to a close when the couple said their goodbyes. Wishing these two an absolutely incredible life together.
