Baby Graham’s In-Home Newborn Session

In-home newborn sessions are my absolute favorite!  I love the idea of mommy and daddy getting to relax in the comfort of their own home and neighborhood, along with their little one for family formal portraits.

Baby Graham Henry arrived on October 4th at 12:15 PM weighing in at almost nine pounds!  Delivered at Winnie Palmer, he arrived health and happy to mommy Stacia, daddy Chad, and his big sister Reese.  Their second child, Stacia and Chad decided to surprise their family, friends, and themselves by waiting until their little one was born to find out the gender.  As Stacia recalls, in the moment he was delivered, Chad was so overwhelmed with joy that he totally forgot to tell her the gender until the nurse reminded him!

Becoming a big sister has definitely been an amazing change for their daughter Reese.  During our session, she was still a little nervous to hold Graham, but enjoyed peeking at him in the crib and reading to him in his rocking chair.  Reese’s favorite thing about being a big sister is, “helping with the baby like when I help hold his pacifier in his mouth.”  It has been incredible for both mommy and daddy to see how much Reese has grown in such a short time and how taken she is with her baby brother.

Our session took place in my sweet little family’s neighborhood for outside portraits and back inside their home for newborn portraits.  Taking breaks in between photos, Graham enjoyed a bottle of milk from mom and being kissed all over by dad.  Of course, my favorite moment was Reese reading to Graham her favorite book and pointing out the animals to him.

A big congratulations to this absolutely amazing family!
