Royal Crest Room Wedding Elopement
Anais and Chris tied the knot during their Royal Crest Room elopement wedding in St Cloud, Florida. The two dined at 310 Lakeside later that night with their family and friends to celebrate the monumental moment in their lives!
Having met back almost ten (yes, ten!) years ago in 2009, the two first had a friendship before romance began. Both living on the Kessler Air Force Base, they met at their local Boys and Girls Club. Their foundation as friends led to building a solid relationship as partners through life.
Anais fell in love with how Chris would do anything to make her laugh and smile, while Chris fell in love with how different they are yet complement one another perfectly. As Anais explains, Chris “is more relaxed and nonchalant whereas I am the one who keeps us in order.”
For the past seven years prior Anais and Chris has always been apart during their anniversary, but last year they were finally able to be in the same location to celebrate. Chris took Anais to where they celebrated their first anniversary together, at dd’Jons, in Melbourne, Florida for an amazing dinner. Asking the waiter to take a picture of the two in front of a lovely bamboo wall just outside of the restaurant, Chris mentioned to him to take “as many as he needed.” Thinking nothing of it, Anais was getting ready for the picture when Chris grabbed her hand. Turning to him, she found Chris down on one knee and he asked her to marry him. Truly the moment could not have been more perfect!
Their wedding day was filled with the same love they have shared for the past nine years. Arriving a bit early, we captured the tail end of Anais finishing up with hair and makeup, while we waited for our groom to arrive. Shortly after, Chris arrived looking dapper as ever. Seeing the bar as we scouted out the venue, I just knew a few fun shots of him and his dad were in order before the ceremony.
Transitioning from the ladies locker room to bridal suite, we followed Anais along for putting on her dress. A sweet father-daughter first look took place as well before we headed out to prepare for their ceremony.
Gorgeous magnolia trees filled the background of their ceremony location at the head of the great lawn. A more intimate guest count, family and friends filled in while we awaited Anais to walk down the aisle. Holding back tears, Chris was blown away seeing her for the first time.
After the ring and vow exchanges, the two shared a first kiss and headed off to sign their marriage licenses now that they were officially Mr. and Mrs.! Circling back afterwards, we had family ready for group portraits and then ventured around the golf course and a few hidden tree lined walkways.
Wishing my darlings a beautiful life together, with many, many more anniversaries together in one place, for forever!
